I tend to be drawn to graphic patterns and bold colors, but the soft, delicate hand-painted peonies on MISHA's handmade wallpaper is what I'm craving right now. Hand-painted silk... please! Wallpaper, bedside tables or room dividers/screens.

Stonely Pelsinki Architecture Neukomm Graye's End Barn

I always like the mixture of old and new. Graye's End Barn by Stonely Pelsinski Architecture Neukomm (SPaN) is a great example. They write, "How do you make a barn when it is not a barn? In this case the structure in question was to serve as an office/guest house/pool house, in addition to its capacity as a utility building. The new building was to be sited and massed to replace an existing barn which had fallen into structural disrepair. Thus the new building was to negotiate the requirements of modern domestic living with the inherited morphology of a traditional open air barn." All of the lines are so beautiful.

My week has been crazy... getting our condo ready, looking for an apartment, a full-time job, freelance. I feel like I am living out of my purse. I wish it were the City Bag in Off-White by Morelle.

The hubby and I are thinking of moving; lease out our condo and get a little (or a lot) closer to my work. Apartment hunting is fun, well at least right now it is. We haven't done it in so long that I get excited to check out new spaces and dream of how I would transform them. Our front-runner has turquoise bathroom tile. Dated? Perhaps. But I am thinking how great it would be to wallpaper it! (Shhhh don't tell the landlord.) These are what I have come up with...
